Please join us for our next BGSD monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6 p.m. Our meeting location is Apollonia Bistro in UTC.

Back by popular demand is Kathleen Chadwick, who oversees the San Diego office of the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA). CDTFA oversees most of the taxes and fees previously collected by the State Board of Equalization, including Sales Tax and Use Tax.

Don't miss this year's opportunity to hear the most current updates in the Sales Tax and Use Law requirements for businesses. Along with industry examples of Sales Tax Audit techniques and real life scenarios.

About Our Speaker, Kathleen Chadwick

California Department of Tax and Fee Administration

Kathleen Chadwick has worked as a sales tax auditor for the State of California for 27 years.  Prior to working with the State she worked in both public accounting and private industry, so she understands taxes from both sides of the table.  She is currently in charge of local outreach for the San Diego office of the CDTFA.  She holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of San Diego.

Registration through 04/18/2019 is $28.00 for Members and Associate Members and $36.00 for Non Members.  The event includes a three-course meal and educational presentation.  For late registration on or after 04/19/2019, the event fee is $45.00. The fee must be prepaid at the time of registration. Unfortunately, refunds are not available to those who register but are unable to attend. Due to limited space and the restaurant’s requirements, walk-ins without registration cannot be accommodated.

We look forward to seeing you!
