Please join us for our next BGSD monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 28th at 6 p.m. Our meeting location is Apollonia Bistro in UTC. Our featured speaker is Kathleen Chadwick, who oversees the San Diego office of The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA). CDTFA now handles most of the taxes and fees previously collected by the Board of Equalization, including sales and use tax. Taxpayer and fee payer account information services and deadlines remain as they were (until further notice).
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from a (former) BOE auditor about the latest techniques used in sales tax audits as well as the most current updates in the Sales & Use tax requirements on small businesses.
Until then, additional information can be found at www.cdtfa.ca.gov and at www.boe.ca.gov
