Please join us for our next monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 24th at 6 p.m. Our meeting location is Apollonia Bistro in UTC.  Dan Goldzband, CMA, MBA will be speaking on “Excel – Tips, Tricks and Traps.” Dan has been a popular Excel instructor and Adjunct Professor at UCSD in Accounting and Finance for 20 years.

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to gain more in depth knowledge on Excel.

Microsoft Excel makes it easy for anyone to do number crunching, once reserved for accountants and statisticians. But the world’s best-selling spreadsheet software has also contributed to the proliferation of bad math. Close to 90% of spreadsheet documents contain errors, a recent report found and suggests “Spreadsheets, even after careful development, contain errors in 1% or more of all formula cells.”

This is also an opportunity for you to pose your own pesky challenges to see how Dan would sketch an approach to solving them.
